Porcelain Crown – Bridge

We restore chipped, cracked or damaged teeth with strong, long-lasting porcelain dental crowns or bridges.

Porcelain Veneer

Porcelain veneers are the process that is applied to the teeth in order to gain the function of the teeth and improve the appearance of the teeth with a lot of substance loss. We can think of this as protecting the teeth by putting a hat over them.

When Is Porcelain Bridge Applied?

We fill the gap in the middle and make Dental Bridges in the areas where there are missing teeth, provided that the tooth in front of and behind the missing tooth is cut. We prefer to fill this deficiency with implants these days. However, in cases where implants cannot be performed, Porcelain Bridge application is a form of treatment that we prefer.

What is Porcelain Tooth Veneer (Crowning)? How is it applied?

Getting veneers usually requires three visits to the dentist – one for a consultation and a second to prepare and measure the teeth. One or more teeth can be veneered at the same time.

Diagnosis and treatment planning
You will tell your dentist about the result you are trying to achieve. During this appointment, your dentist will examine your teeth and discuss the procedure and some of its limitations to make sure veneers are right for you. They may take X-rays and possibly take impressions of your mouth and teeth.

Preparation
To prepare a tooth for veneer, your dentist must abrade from the tooth surface, an amount nearly equal to the thickness of the veneer to be added to the tooth surface. Your dentist will decide whether to anesthetize the area before cutting the enamel, depending on the condition of the tooth. Next, your dentist will make a model or impression of your tooth. This model is sent to a dental lab that makes your veneer.
It usually takes 1 week for the coatings to come back from the lab. Temporary dental veneers can be used during this time.

Dental bonding
Your dentist will place the veneer over your tooth to examine its fit and color, repeatedly removing and correcting the veneer to achieve the proper fit before permanently bonding the veneer to your tooth.
Coat color can be adjusted with the bond shade to be used. Next, your tooth will be cleaned, polished and abraded to prepare your tooth to receive the veneer.
The etching is roughened to allow a strong bonding action.
A special cement is applied to the veneer and then placed on your tooth.
The final steps include removing excess glue, checking your bite, and making any necessary adjustments.
